Button Bracelet

Making jewelry is fun, but sometimes it can get a little overwhelming when things get a little too complex. So, to solve that issue, I found a simple and cute bracelet using only two materials and one common household tool! The cool thing is, this can be personalized just by changing the color of your cord and the type of button you use!

Here are the materials needed:

• Cording (about 20” each bracelet – less for a smaller button, more for a larger button)

• Buttons (with 4 holes)

• Scissors

Let’s get started!

• Thread the cord through cattycorner (diagonally opposite) holes so the ends are on the backside of the button.

• Pass one end of the cord back through another hole toward the front of the button.

• Pull that thread through the remaining hole toward the back of the button but leave a small loop on the backside – you should have just made an X on the front of your button. The back of your button may look like a smiley face.

• Pull the cord ends through the loop and tighten. This will make your button lay flat.

• Take both ends and tie a knot to finish the end of the bracelet. Make sure you leave a loop on the end that’s big enough for the button to go through.
