Bring your creative visions to life with Glowforge 3D laser printers. Whether you prefer working with wood, leather, metal, paper, tile, or even EVA foam, these machines help you design and produce high-quality Glowforge projects. Choose between the Glowforge Plus and Glowforge Pro, depending on whether you want an at-home hobbyist option or the perfect 3D laser printer, engraver, and cutter for your business or classroom.

Maximum material depth: 18" (455 mm) for Basic and Plus; unlimited for Pro

Cutting area: approx. 11" (279 mm) deep and 19.5" (495 mm) wide

Laser system:
- CO2 Laser -- Custom CO2 glass laser tube capable of continuous operation at 10,600 nm; rated at 45 watts for Pro and 40 watts for Plus and Basic
- Fixed Alignment -- Factory calibrated optical system does not require any alignment by the user
- Sealed Optics -- Enclosed optical path with cleanable and replaceable windows protects the laser optics to avoid replacement or realignment

LAS101: Introduction to the Glowforge Laser Cutter

Ever since its discovery in the 1960s, laser cutting has made dreams like this into achievable realities for makers. Lasers are now more accessible and affordable than ever – meaning your dream set of etched marble coasters are closer to reality than you may have realized.

LAS101 is one of our introductory laser cutting workshops, where you'll learn how to make exciting designs in a wide variety of different materials! During this workshop, we’ll cover the simple steps necessary to use the Glowforge laser cutter, as well as how to cut and etch or engrave your projects.
