OVERVIEW
Sanding is an integral part of any woodworking project to get surfaces ready for their final presentation. Additionally, almost all finishing touches - painting, staining, or varnishing - require some form of sanding beforehand. Random orbit sanders such as our Dewalt sander are designed for sanding over large areas. The sanding pad orbits randomly, preventing gouging, and keeping projects smooth. The DeWalt DWE6423 Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander is designed to comfortably fit in the palm of your hand, and features an easy way to change out sandpaper.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 3.0 Amp motor that spins the pad at 8,000 OPM to 12,000 OPM
- Shorter height allows the user to get closer to work piece
- Rubber over-mold in all of the critical areas of the sander
- Separate counterweight design reduces vibration for improved comfort
- Improved dust collection and interfacing with our vacuum locking system
- Dust bag has 1-hand locking system
- Dust port is designed to fit directly to DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors
- To attach dust port to other vacs with 1 1/4 in. hoses use DWV9000 universal quick connector
